A new track off her third monthly release "MARCH 2018."

With MARCH 2018, Mila J has shared her third consecutive monthly EP, and the project continues in the tradition of the first two installments by keeping the arrangements downtempo and restrained. Though some of the strongest moments of her 2018 output have been acoustic, "Dr. Phil" is a strong return to more modern R&B production. It fits in well beside the spare, drumless tracks by keeping the BPM low and the emotions high. As Mila moves past a complicated relationship, she asserts "like a flower needs rain to grow, need pain to grow," forgiving the man who did her wrong, but letting him know that she can't be the one to help him forgive himself. "This can't be good, you need therapy," she coos, letting her ex know that it'll do both parties some good for him to seek help.

Quotable Lyrics:
I don’t wanna hear it no more
Please don’t send me nothing
Shouldn’t have to say this no more
I don’t wanna say this no more
You fucked up, but we all fuck up, you know
It happens all the time
But sometimes it takes pain to grow
Like a flower needs rain to grow
You need pain to grow
