As he announced with the release of the track "Goin Through Some Thangs" earlier this month, Master P will be putting out the sequel to his platinum-certified 1996 album, Ice Cream Man, later this year.
Building upon the aforementioned track's trap sound, "Independent" features Travis Kr8tes delivering an auto-tuned chorus while Master P raps over a bombastic Southern beat. No Limit's YouTube description says that Percy Miller is building "a younger fan base," and modern-sounding tracks like "Independent" are probably the reason behind that.
