Earlier today it was being reported that Marshawn Lynch and the Oakland Raiders had agreed to a two-year deal, pending a physical which was scheduled for today.
And it looks like the physical went according to plan because Marshawn just officially announced that he's back and he's really, really, really excited to be playing for his hometown team.
The 31-year old running back sent out a tweet with a screenshot of a note that reads,
"Yes lawd 12th man I'm thankful but shit just got REAL I had hella fun in Seattle...But I'm really from Oakland doe like really really really from Oakland doe... town bizness breath on me."
The Raiders will open up the regular season on the road against the Titans. Marshawn's first game in front of the home crowd will come in Week 2 against the Jets.
