Check out Logic's new video for "1-800-273-8255."

Logic continues to ride the wave of his chart-topping album Everybody, a release that has gifted him with many triumphs in the music business this year. Whether he's selling out stadiums and performing in front of tens of thousands of people or if he's simply trying to spread those positive vibes to his fans and followers via Twitter, his recent album has given him the platform to do some societal good with his music. Now, he's returned with a powerful new set of visuals for his song "1-800-273-8255."

The subject matter of the track has already been turning heads since it first saw the light of day online. Putting himself in the place of a suicidal person, the song begins in a morbid place before evolving into a poignant, compassionate piece of music that lets people who are going through a rough patch know the most important thing: they are never alone. In an interview about the lyrics, Logic talked about really taking his time with this track, because of its potential to save lives, even partnering with the Suicide Prevention Services of America to use their real phone number in the title. Thankfully, it looks like just as much care was taken with the video.

The music video really packs a punch, following a high school student through the ups and downs of a day where he is bombarded with negativity from all sides. Thinking about ending his life, the cinematic visuals create a really personal atmosphere, not unlike the Oscar-winning film Moonlight, which was cut from a very similar cloth in its middle section. Kudos to Logic and the team behind the video for not treating the content or their viewers with kid gloves, yet not making the proceedings about to be some over-the-top cry-fest either. It's honest, it's raw and it's tremendous.

Watch the video via Apple Music and/or iTunes here. We'll include a video embed when it becomes available.
