"I’m actually amazed by Conor McGregor."

New York Knicks 22-year old star Kristaps Porzingis will be entering his third season in the NBA next year, and he's looking to take his game to the next level in more ways than one.

Of course, Porzingis is looking to get physically stronger and he has been working on his game with Dirk Nowitzki, but he's also trying to get mentally tougher by watching one of the best trash talkers in all of sports.

In a recent interview with NBA.com, Kristaps revealed that he's been studying Conor McGregor and the way he talks trash to his opponents. It's something that Porzingis hopes will help him mentally on the court next season.

Via NBA.com,

“I’m still 22 and still really young but I’m trying to learn as much as I can on the court, and trying to learn as much as I can off the court as well. I want to improve the mental side. I’m actually amazed by Conor McGregor. I’ve been watching so many of his videos, trash talking, how mentally strong he is. I’ve been really interested in that kind of stuff.”
