Be prepare to shell out to have a piece of the Kobe Bryant "24 Collection."

The 2016 NBA season has almost come to a close, and with it comes the end of Kobe Bryant’s illustrious career as a Los Angeles Laker. Pretty much every team in the league has participated in the Kobe Bryant Farewell Tour™ in some way this season, but there is no way his hometown team was going to be outdone. Cue the ultra-expensive “24 Collection.”

Either the Lakers or Kobe have been paying a lot of attention to Kanye West, because the prices for some of these commemorative pieces of clothing are through the roof (except a few pins and t-shirts). The collection includes an $824 snakeskin accented jersey that plays on Bryant’s ‘Black Mamba’ nickname and a $5,824 lambskin leather jacket with Swarovski crystals. However the cream of the crop is easily the limited edition 24 karat gold fitted cap, which retails for $38,248.08. That’s more than the number of points Kobe Bryant has scored in his career, and just shy of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time record for point scored.

Seems like the Lakers really want to test everyone’s love of Kobe with this collection. Better start finding a buyer for your spare kidney, because the products are on sale now.
