Kendrick stars in a feel-good Grammy promo.

Kendrick Lamar, recent recipient of the key to the city of Compton, is slated perform at this year's Grammys, live from the Staples Center on February 15. Before he takes the stage, he returns to Compton in a Grammy promo video called "Witness Greatness."

Members of the Compton community take turns rapping Lamar's anthemic "Alright" line by line. Towards the end, Kendrick hops out the drop-top and joins a joyous crowd to sing the chorus.

"Alright" is up for Song of the Year, and To Pimp a Butterfly is up for Album of the Year. How do you like Kendrick's odds?
