After finding some success with his album 11 back in January, California-based singer Johnny Rain went back into hiding, and we've only heard from sparingly since. He hasn't exactly "broken through" yet, but there are definite rumblings.
Just the other week he stepped out of the shadows to drop a music video for "Harveston Lake," off 11, but he's he's back again this afternoon with his first new release since the album. We're excited to premiere "Animosity / Xodi" featuring fellow singer James Blake. The mind-numbing r'n'b record weaves one sound perfectly into the next, for an experimental ride into Johnny's mind-- he ends the record with a sort spoken word outro, accompanied by minimal production, which itself leads into some crooning from James Blake.
