Sometimes, the internet can rally together and make glorious things happen. Thanks to the detective work of some R/hiphopheads users, a previously unreleased J.I.D. mixtape called Para Tu surfaced. To no one's surprise, the tape was dope as hell, and a welcome addition to the young rapper's expanding musical canon. After Para Tu has been receiving nothing but praise from his fans, J.I.D. came through for the fans and re-uploaded the project onto his official Soundcloud page. If that's not a real move from one of the game's most promising lyricists, I don't know what it.

If you're looking for a starting point, the album's second track "Pro-Verbs" proves that J.I.D. had it from the jump. Over a banging beat, J.I.D. spits bars like "I get in her whip she bumpin' Gucci Mane & Zaytoven, she get in mines I'm bumpin' Beethoven," sounding more lyrically playful than on The Never Story. Overall, the saga of Para Tu has been a bright point of the day, and hopefully fans can appreciate J.I.D.'s moment of generosity by supporting his album The Never Story.

Quotable Lyrics

Motherfuck your drums, I finna spit it to the flutes
Talk around my city, just point em out who got the juice,
Couldn't quote my shit, probably break a fuckin' tooth
You talkin' bout Richter scale, I earthquake the fuckin' booth
