J.I.D is worth your time.
Dreamville's newest signee J.I.D is already proving he's worth his salt. The Never Story is one of the best rap projects released so far in 2017, and (the second half of) "Never" has to be one of the year's most thrilling songs yet. J.I.D has also proven that he has a penchant for tearing apart late-'90s beats. Six weeks after tackling Nas' "Oochie Wally" on Shade 45, he hit Funk Flex's studio during a tour step earlier this week to deliver a freestyle over Screwball’s “F.A.Y.B.A.N.” and The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who Shot Ya."
