Beyonce's LEMONADE did not cast her husband Jay Z in a particularly positive light. Her retelling of her emotional journey through Jay's infidelity resulted in one of her best albums to date, as well as one of her most commercially successful -- all 12 songs from the album are currently charting.
Although Jay, 46, was heavily involved in the creation of LEMONADE, he is officially working on a "response" album to tell "his side of things," a source told US Weekly. It will be Jay's first album since 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail. It will also be his last. Not like we haven't heard that before...
The internet-wide search for Hov's illicit lover, "Becky with the good hair," has yet to bear fruit. Perhaps this album will offer some clues as to her identity.
