James Blake has been in hiding long enough, and last night he let BBC Radio 1 debut some new sounds he's been working on. He's since uploaded the radio rip on his personal YouTube channel, "Modern Soul." The last time we actually heard from Blake was as a featured artist on a Johnny Rain song-- and if you can imagine, it's his first proper solo release since 2013.
He sounds right at home weaving his vocals around piano keys, far-away hollow drums, and a few other interesting noise choices; thus living up to the modern/yet soul title. Are you feeling the vibe?
