Ice T's 19 year old grandson, Elyjah Marrow, has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter after he accidentally shot and killed his roommate. TMZ reports that police said that Marrow was "fiddling with a handgun" when it went off, fatally wounding Daryus Johnson, who was also 19.
In addition to involuntary manslaughter, Marrow was charged with possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless conduct, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm, which all stemmed from the incident and subsequent police search of his residence. Ice T has yet to comment.
