H.E.R. is a mysterious singer who used to sing under the name Gabi Wilson. She is currently plotting the release of H.E.R. Vol. 2. Last month, she released the project's promising lead single "Say It Again." On Friday, she returned with the equally promising single "Every Kind of Way," an expression of unconditional love. Each register plays a simple but well-defined role: the bass handles harmonic movement, and the middle registers are occupied by a guitar playing an infectious call-and-response up and down the neck.
