Once again, Grey Sweatpants has made good on his promise to stick to his weekly Sunday release schedule with a new track titled "Gerald Levert," named for the '90s R&B singer who died in 2006 at age 40. "I only made this song because I needed a new ringtone," says Sweatpants.

Some of Levert's biggest hits dealt with the landline, and Sweatpants has now brought his legacy into the cellular age. The track is a catchy anthem that properly captures the high of getting that first text and realizing she wants that work before she goes to work. The production is like an old-school remix of a new-school trap beat, plus a couple of chopped 'n screwed interludes -- perfect for the zany stylings of Chachi Pajamas.

Quotable Lyrics

They textin' me and I ain't tex 'em first
She say before she go to work she wanna get that work
I can fit her in my schedule, set a phone alert
I can fit her in my schedule, set a phone alert, I'm Gerald Levert
