Philly rapper GrandeMarshall released his long-awaited Fool's Gold debut, My Brother's Keeper, in 2015, keeping a pretty low profile since. Today, he's returned with his first new music following the LP's release, sharing the contemplative "Now & Then." Produced by J. Money, a gritty loop provides a ruminating dusty guitar loop, couple with some sturdy boom bap drums.
It's perfect territory for GM's understated, emotionally-driven delivery, as he muses on a complicated relationship with the clarity that comes with hindsight.
