The Warriors have played in Oakland for 47 years.

Heading into next season, the Golden State Warriors will be moving into the Chase Center in San Francisco. It's going to be a big change of scenery for the Warriors as they've been playing at the Oracle Arena in Oakland for 47 years. While the team still gets to play at Oracle in the playoffs, last night was the team's last regular season game at the storied arena. In order to bid adieu to the Oakland fans, the team had an emotional postgame ceremony in which they raised a banner in honor of the arena. The banner will hang in the rafters at Oracle until the end of the playoffs and will then be hung up at the Chase Center.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr talked about what it meant to pay homage to the arena that has seen three NBA titles in the last four seasons.

"It was kind of strange, to be honest with you," Kerr said according to ESPN. "It was a really nice moment. All of the fans stuck around, which was great, but we're coming right back and playing Game 1 Saturday or Sunday. Hopefully, we'll have another send-off in a grander manner."

To commemorate the final regular season game at Oracle, the team wore their "We Believe" era jersey and destroyed the Los Angeles Clippers 131-104. Thanks to the win, Golden State guaranteed themselves the number one seed in the Western Conference for the playoffs.
