Sage Steele replaced, twitter rejoices.

ESPN has announced that Sage Steele will no longer serve as the host of NBA Countdown on ABC and ESPN as we approach the NBA Playoffs, and twitter is rejoicing.

Taking over for Sage Steele is SportsNation co-host Michelle Beadle who will host all of the pregame and halftime shows on ABC, as well as host the ESPN and ABC studio shows throughout the playoffs including the NBA Finals.

Beadle, who has been hosting NBA Countdown on Wednesdays and Fridays, will also continue to co-host SportsNation during the week.

In a statement Beadle said,

"The only thing better than working for Connor Schell and Kevin Wildes is being able to spend each day with all of the incredibly talented people at NBA Countdown and SportsNation. It’s the best job in sports."

"Did I mention that Kawhi Leonard is the M.V.P. of the league?”

On the other hand, Steele has not been fired by the company and will continue her role with "SportsCenter on the Road."

She received a ton of backlash a few months ago when she sent out an instagram post complaining about missing her flight due to all of the people protesting Trump's Muslim ban at LAX. And now that she's been removed as host of NBA Countdown, her critics are out in full force once again.

Check out some of the reactions below.
