Dwight Howard fined $25K for "Suck It" gesture.

Dwight Howard has reportedly been fined $25,000 by the NBA for making an "obscene gesture" toward a fan during the Hornets' 112-94 loss in Minnesota on Sunday.

The incident occurred during the second quarter of Charlotte's loss, a game in which Dwight finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, though he had a plus/minus of -13. Footage of the incident isn't of the highest quality, but you can clearly see Dwight channeling his inner D-Generation X while looking into the Minnesota crowd.

Dwight Howard and the Charlotte Hornets suffered another L last night in New York, losing to the Knicks 118-113, marking the team's third straight loss. The Hornets, now 5-6 on the season, will face the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers in their next two games.

So far this season, his first with the Hornets, Dwight Howard is averaging 15.2 points and 13.2 rebounds in a little over 30 minutes per game. And he isn't the only NBA player who has gotten himself fined for interacting with fans this season.

Last month the league fined Phoenix Suns rookie forward Josh Jackson $35,000 for a similar offense, but Jackson also used inappropriate language toward a fan in addition to making the obscene gesture.

Additionally, Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving was fined $25,000 for yelling "suck my dick" at a heckling Sixers fan in October.
