An official announcement regarding Drake's rumored sneaker deal with Adidas could be coming any day now.

Drake's move to Adidas has been speculated for months as he has been spotted in several different Adidas sneakers amid rumors that he's ready to end his partnership with Nike. Golden State Warriors guard Nick Young added more fuel to the fire during a recent interview with Grailed, saying, "I've seen him with the Yeezys on. That’s a big win. Nike’s been killing it, but now we've got Kanye, we’re about to have Drake."

According to sneaker source @Py_Rates, the "Toronto Raptors" Air Jordan 4 that surfaced earlier this month was originally supposed to be the next OVO collab, featuring Drake's name on the tongue similar to the way "Cactus Jack" sits on the heel of Travis Scott's Oilers-inspired Air Jordan 4 collab. The idea was to have the artists pay tribute to their hometown teams with their names on the shoe.

However, @Py_Rates notes that Drake's move to Adidas is imminent, and Nike will release the "Raptors" Air Jordan 4 as is, without any references to the Toronto rapper.
