DMX gains a little more freedom.

While DMX has been undergoing a bit of a rough patch of late, the legendary rapper has managed to score a small legal victory. Due to his recent tax evasion charges, X was originally hit with a bail limitation prohibiting him from leaving New York. However, TMZ reports that a judge has granted him permission to leave NYC on the sole condition that his trip is for work and work alone.

While this is good news for anyone hoping that X might hit the road on tour, it should be stated that in order to do so, he would still need to file a formal request in court. X has plead non-guilty to fourteen counts of tax evasion, and apparently owes the IRS up to $1.7 million dollars in unpaid taxes.
