Desiigner is currently in the midst of one of the more interesting runs in hip-hop. Having exploded onto music scene last year with his chart-topping single “Panda,” Desiigner soared to mainstream success in a matter of weeks, and became an instant household name in the game. However, since the success of “Panda” & “Timmy Turner,” the G.O.O.D Music rapper has yet to duplicate, or even come close to that success, and still hasn't released his debut album.

While many fans have Desiigner on the clock with his buzz fizzling away, his upcoming debut album, Life Of Desiigner, has now become much more of a make-or-break moment in the trajectory of Desiigner’s career moving forward. Having just shared the album’s artwork a couple days ago, the Brooklyn has been rolling out new music to hold us over in the meantime, and today we have another offering to share with y'all called “Malibu”.

Serving as the follow up to Monday’s “Arms” release, “Malibu” is another boisterous & ad-lib heavy record that finds the Brooklyn native rapping about chillen with his gang in “Malibu” over production from CashmoneyAP & 16YrsOld. It’s unclear if this is album material or not, but we’re always here for new Desiigner regardless. Hit play & let us know what you think.

And as Desiigner said with the release... "LOD Album Coming Sooner Than You Think!". Stay tuned.

Quotable Lyrics:

Im with the gang up in Malibu
Don't make my niggas embarrass you
Don't let my dogs embarrass you
My niggas they coming with parachutes
We jump out the jet with the parachutes
She poppin’ the xanny's, the edible
I got my gang up in Malibu
I had my niggas come challenge you
