After announcing their 2016 freshman class last week, XXL is now in the process of rolling out their freshman freestyles. Yesterday: Kodak Black. Today: Denzel Curry.
Curry says the a capella freestyle was his favorite part of the XXL shoot, and it's not hard to see why. He ripped it. His cypher verse is going to be a problem as well.
"I really don't think I have a genre, honestly," said Curry in his freshman interview, embedded below. "I feel like it's totally different from the rap that people hear today." Anyone who bumped his new album Imperial can more or less confirm this statement.
