Nuggets add burgundy into their color scheme.

The Denver Nuggets unveiled three new uniforms last night, as well as an evolved brand identity that includes a new color palette and five distinct modern logos.

The uniforms feature several notable changes, including the addition of burgundy in the color scheme while getting rid of the baby blue. As the team's press release states "the name Colorado is of Spanish origin, meaning ‘colored red.’ On the white jerseys, the name Nuggets across the chest and the Nike logos are emblazoned in reddish burgundy."

The Nugget's navy Icon uniforms feature "Denver" in gold across the chest, outlined by the aforementioned burgundy color, with white trim and numbers. The Statement uniform have "Mile High City" in a circular pattern in white surrounding a gold number, and the new skyline logo on the buckle of the shorts.

The team's official press release states, "The image revitalization occurs as the Nuggets continue to shift and evolve into a new era of basketball. The innovative marks and uniforms acknowledge the team’s past, while concurrently looking forward and identifying the transformation of the Mile High City."

In total, there will be four new uniforms, but the fourth will be revealed sometime during the 2018-19 NBA season.
