NBA fines Jokic for saying "no homo" when describing Wendell Carter Jr.'s length.

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has been fined $25,000 for homophobic comments he made following Denver's 108-107 overtime victory against the Chicago Bulls on October 31. During his post-game interview, Jokic had said, "no homo, he's longer than you expect" when asked by reporters about Bulls' rookie Wendell Carter Jr., who scored a career-high 25 points on 9-for-21 shooting.

A Nuggets fan account shared video footage of Jokic's remark on Instagram, as seen in the post embedded below.

Jokic, 23, is currently averaging 15.8 points, 9.7 rebounds and 7.4 assists through 11 games in his fourth NBA season. The Nuggets have shined as a result of The Joker's stellar play and are sitting at 9-2 heading into a four-game home stand which kicks off Friday night against the Brooklyn Nets.
