Demi Lovato faced some serious backlash yesterday after she tweeted that the 21 Savage memes were more amusing to her than the Super Bowl. Probably not the best decision on her part but she was hit with some pretty cruel tweets that referenced her issue with addiction with some even going as far to say that she deserves to overdose. Ultimately, Demi Lovato deleted her Twitter because of the backlash but her friend, Bebe Rexha, has clapped back at critics.

Bebe Rexha stood up for Demi Lovato following the backlash the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer received on Sunday for her comments on 21 Savage's detainment by ICE.

"To all the people who talked shit to Demi you’re FUCKIN DISGUSTING. Attacking someone that is 6 months sober about her personal issues with drugs and mental health over a tweet is LOW," she wrote.

Adding, "Wanna talk shit tweet me. Motherfuckers."

Offset seemingly responded to Demi on Twitter shortly after, although he didn't mention her name.

"ALL THE MEMES AND S--T AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME," he wrote. "AINT SHIT FUNNY HIS FANILY DEPENDING ON HIM."

Demi's tweet also reached 21 Savage's manager who was not only disappointed in Demi's tweet but also the criticism she received afterward.

"Damn. We was def Demi Lovato fans. When she was going through her shit I remember being on the tour bus and Savage said I hope she make it through that shit. People r weird bro," she wrote. "Wtf is funny about possibly dying from an overdose? Am I old and lame? Cuz I don’t get it."
