Hip-hop's underground kings, Atmosphere, aka Slug and Ant, are returning in a week's time with a new album. Ahead of the release of Fishing Blues, the duo offer up a new record/video today for "Pure Evil" featuring I.B.E.
As to be expected from the Minnesota duo, they're nowhere to be found in the music video. Instead the visual focuses on a police officer, like much of the song's content-- Slug broaches topics of police brutality, the innocent vs. the guilty and more through out the record. Although many rappers have taken on this subject matter lately, Slug is among the best, lyrically, to do it. Take a close listen and/or watch.
