Joshua and Wilder have been going back and forth for a while now.

There was a period of time where boxing hit a bit of snag and just wasn't as popular as it used to be. This was mainly due to a lack of interesting characters throughout the multiple divisions. That seems to have changed though thanks to heavyweight fighters such as Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, and Anthony Joshua. Joshua and Wilder are considered the two best heavyweights in the sport, although they have yet to fight each other, which seems pretty odd when you think about.

Wilder is currently the WBC Heavyweight champion, while Joshua is the champion of the other remaining divisions. This means Joshua could become unified champion if he were to beat Wilder in a title fight. The two have been going back and forth over the past few months but still, haven't come to terms on a fight.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Joshua seems excited at the prospect of a fight and is urging Wilder to come and strike a deal.

"If he's ready and wants to prove he's the best in the world, [Wilder] can come see me," Joshua said.

Joshua will be heading to the ring on June 1st where he will fight Andy Ruiz. He was supposed to fight Jarrell Miller, although Miller ended up testing positive for banned substances.
