Air Jordan 1 Mid

"Our differences unite us."

Nike and Jordan Brand have been known to make shoes that offer inspirational and uplifting messages. We live in scary times right now and sometimes its nice to receive a positive message from a place you would least expect, that place being your shoes. In the past we've seen these messages spread on the Nike LeBron 15 & 16 "Equality" models and now, we're getting an injection of positivity from the Air Jordan 1 Mid.

There is no official name to this colorway, although the most important aspect of the shoe is the message on the back heel which reads "Nos Differences Nous Unissent.” This phrase is French for "Our Differences Unite Us." According to Sneaker News, this is the same phrase that can be seen on the jerseys of France's national soccer team. The French national team is known for its diversity so this phrase definitely makes sense considering the context.

As for the rest of the shoe, it comes with a white leather upper, icy blue outsole, and little dots surrounding the cuff.

This pair is expected to drop this Summer for $120 USD.
