On November 11th, A Tribe Called Quest will release their final album We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service. It will be their first album in 18 years. It's a celebration!!
ATCQ put out Midnight Marauders in 1993. Towards the back of the album sat "Electric Relaxation," a fresh perspective on sex-obsessed young men "mesmerized with your fat-ass thighs" imbued with a spiritual component in Ronnie Foster's "Mystic Brew." J. Cole would later swaggerjack the beat for the purposes of his excellent "Forbidden Fruit."
