Silver says Curry is the one who didn't want All-Star draft televised.

Most of the NBA All-Stars seemed to agree that the league dropped the ball by not televising the first annual All-Star Draft. Fans were surely hoping to see who LeBron James and Steph Curry selected and exactly who was picked first, second, etc.

Well, according to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, Curry was actually opposed to televising the draft and was part of the reason it took place behind closed doors.

During Silver's appearance on ESPN's "The Jump" yesterday, he explained that the Golden State Warriors All-Star point guard was the one who wanted to do a secretive draft before they talked about televising it.

Silver says, “I agree with Steph. He was the one who said, ‘Give us a break. We changed the format for the first time. Let’s see how it goes, and we can talk about televising it.'”

After the draft was completed, both LeBron and Steph said they hope the league televises everything next year. Check out Silver's comments about the draft below.

The 2018 NBA All-Star game is scheduled to get underway on Sunday, February 18th at approximately 8pm ET. The game will air on TNT, along with the rest of the NBA's All-Star Weekend coverage.
