Curry to be reevaluated after the Holidays.

The Golden State Warriors will likely be without Stephen Curry through the Holidays, which includes their much anticipated NBA Finals rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day.

Curry, who is still recovering from a right ankle sprain he suffered during earlier this month, was reevaluated yesterday and there's still no timetable for his return.

The Warriors released the results of his evaluation which states that he'll be re-evaluated in one week, meaning he'll be out of action for next Monday's Finals rematch.

"The evaluation indicated that the ankle is healing well and that [Curry] is making good progress overall, enabling him to progress to modified on-court workouts in the coming days. He will be re-evaluated in one week with the anticipation of having more clarity at that time on a potential return to game action plan."

So far this season Curry is averaging 26.3 points per game, the second highest of his career, as well as 6.6 assists and 5.1 rebounds.

Even without the 29-year old 2x NBA MVP in the lineup, Golden State has been red hot in December, winning the five games Curry has missed and nine straight overall. Through 30 games, the defending champs are 24-6.

The Warriors' showdown against the Cavs will tip off at Oracle Arena at 3:00pm ET on Christmas Day.
