Some of Hollywood's biggest actresses are planning on taking a stand at the Golden Globes.

The sexual harassment allegations that have engulfed Hollywood's elite prior to 2018's awards season run undoubtedly put a dark cloud over the glitzy proceedings that are upcoming in Los Angeles. According to a new report from Us Weeklythe ugly storyline should be front and center on the red carpet, as many actresses are planning to protest the unseemly behind-the-scenes culture with a distinct fashion choice.

Both nominees and presenters will take to the Golden Globes' red carpet in all-black outfits to protest the ongoing rash of sexual misconduct incidents perpetrated by several powerful men in the film and television firmament. Sources have also said that the protest could extend to other awards ceremonies early next year, but specific details are currently being kept under wraps.

"This movement is spreading rampantly and pretty much all the nominated women and others attending are participating," one insider detailed. "All the stylists who already did fittings are now changing out their clients' original picks for Globes (potentially shifting those dresses to the SAG Awards or other carpets)." Major players in the industry, including Harvey Weinstein, Brett Ratner, Kevin Spacey and several others have already been named by many victims, both male and female, as repeat offenders. The #MeToo movement has gained the unstoppable momentum of a runaway freight train over the past two or so months, with Time magazine naming the "silence breakers" as their Person of the Year.
