LeBron James, Cavs Take Parting Shot At New York After Comeback Win

LeBron James took shots at the New York Knicks, and the team's former President Phil Jackson, prior to last night's showdown at Madison Square Garden. Then, LeBron led the Cavs to a come from behind victory, capped off with a clutch three pointer over Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis, en route to 23 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds. This morning, LeBron issued his parting shot at the Knicks, their fans, and the city.

LeBron, who had a run in with Knicks rookie Frank Ntilikina and center Enes Kanter during last night's game, took to instagram this morning to dub himself the king of New York, and Madison Square Garden his "favorite playground."

Following last night's loss, in which the Knicks blew a 23-point lead, Enes Kanter didn't hold back when speaking about LeBron and his feelings towards "the king."

Per ESPN,

"I don't care ... what you call yourself. King, Queen, Princess, whatever you are. You know what, we're going to fight and nobody out there (is) going to punk us," Kanter said.

LeBron responded, 

"I'm the King, my wife is the Queen and my daughter is the Princess," he said. "So we got all three covered."

The Cavs overcame a 15-point fourth quarter deficit behind LeBron's stellar play on both sides of the ball, including two huge defensive stops against Porzingis down the stretch. Kyle Korver was lights out in the final quarter as well, scoring 19 of his 21 points in the fourth to catapult the Cavs to their seventh win of the season, which puts them at .500 for the season. 

Several Cavs players, including Dwyane Wade and Isaiah Thomas, took to instagram shortly after the game concluded to share their feelings about the thriller at MSG. Naturally, they channelled Arthur.
