Kamara's injury has major impact in fantasy football leagues.

New Orleans Saints star rooking running back Alvin Kamara suffered a concussion after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit during the Saints' first possession against the Falcons last night and was unable to return to the game.

Needless to say, it was a devastating blow to the Saints, but also to fantasy football owners who were relying on Kamara to thrive in the first game of the fantasy playoffs.

Kamara was among the top running backs, and position players in general, this season in fantasy, scoring 11 touchdowns on the year which is tied for first in the NFL. He has 1,245 yards from scrimmage on the season and was one of the most reliable players week in and week out.

Unfortunately for those fantasy football owners, the 22-year old running back had just two rushing yards and three catches for 25 yards before exiting the game. New Orleans went on to loss to Atlanta, 20-17, as the Falcons improved to 8-5; just a game back of the 9-4 Saints.

Kamara will get another crack at the Falcons in Week 16, but those who had him on their fantasy teams might not make it that far. Of course, the type of reactions some fans had is exactly what Seahawks DB Richard Sherman was talking about when he said, "a lot of fans out there have looked at players even less like people because of fantasy football and things like that."

Check out how some people reacted to the injury he suffered last night.
