The Minnesota-based rapper touches on his African lineage in this new cut featuring Espacio Dios.

You may remark a chord progression eerily similar to Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You". You wouldn't be wrong to call upon your instincts. The marimba is taking front seat and center on Afrobeats' inspired production. Mrs. Africa, produced by Don Alfonso, follow that chord progression into similar territory.

Allan Kingdom, born in Canada but based in St. Paul, Minnesota, makes an allusion to his African lineage throughout the vocal textures of the song. His parents emigrated by way of Tanzania and South Africa.

Kingdom's Lines came out in April of last year.
