Wyclef Jean is planning to drop a mixtape this spring, entitled April Showers. We've already heard one song from the tape, "Hip Hop", and it promises to have plenty of collaborations.
Among the high profile guests on the mixtape will be 2 Chainz, T.I., Waka Flocka Flame, Trae Tha Truth and Uncle Murda.
"The reaction I've been getting from the song 'Hip Hop' has made me realize just how badly the fans want music that can evoke certain types of emotion,” said Clef. “With April Showers, I am going to show you where I feel the evolution and future of music is going. From this body of work you can expect a futuristic sonic eclectic sound.”
This will be Wyclef's first project since 2009’s From the Hut, To the Projects, To the Mansion.
