The couple have been through thick and thin together.

Breakups are a dime a dozen in the entertainment industry, and long-lasting relationships are not often seen. However, some celebrities succeed in finding their person and making their partnership work through thick and thin. The love story of the comedy icon Kevin Hart and his wife, Eniko Hart, falls within this bracket. The two have been together for a while now and have built an enduring relationship over the years.

Their relationship eventually blossomed amid the backdrop of fame and the entertainment industry. Unsurprisingly, the couple has faced their fair share of challenges over the years. However, through it all, they’ve fought for their love and stayed together. From the first romantic sparks to their married life and Kevin Hart’s infidelity and public apology, here’s the timeline of their relationship.

2009: Kevin Hart & Eniko Parrish Meet & Start Dating

While it remains unknown when exactly in 2009 the pair got together, they have confirmed that they started dating that year. In Hart’s Netflix special, Don’t F**k This Up, Eniko shared the story of how they met. According to the model, it was in a DC club sometime in 2009, where Hart boldly serenaded her at the DJ booth. From that point, it didn’t take long for their relationship to develop, as they were undeniably attracted to each other.

“One thing led to another, and it just happened,” Parrish said. “We couldn’t resist each other. It was nonstop.” However, in 2009, Kevin Hart had not finalized his divorce from his former wife, Torrei. As such, he kept his budding relationship with Parrish under wraps and didn’t make any public appearances with Eniko until afterward.

Kevin and Torrei Hart’s divorce was finalized in November 2011. Soon after, Hart and Eniko let the cat out of the bag, announcing their relationship by finally appearing in public together. Certainly, there were speculations that Eniko was the reason Hart’s marriage with Torrei came to an end. However, the comedian has vehemently opposed that notion, calling it a misconception. In Don’t F**k This Up, he said, “The biggest misconception is that Eniko was the home-wrecker… Reality is, I was done with my first marriage. We were done. In separate homes.”

2014: Hart & Parrish Get Engaged

On August 18, 2014, Eniko’s 30th birthday, the couple took their relationship to the next level. At the time, they had been dating for five years, and finally, Hart popped the question. After receiving a “yes," Hart took to Instagram to celebrate the big news. He posted a picture of the two of them together, with Eniko wearing the huge diamond ring, and captioned it, “She said YEEEEESSSSS......” Likewise, Eniko also celebrated the big news, posting a video of the surprise proposal on her Instagram page. Her caption read, “I said YES!!!!! To the most amazing man in the world.. 😘💍Thirty has been GREAT to me thus far, I wouldn't trade it for anything..”

New cheating allegations were mounted against Hart in a video published on the Unwine with Tasha K YouTube account on December 22, 2023. Shakes alleges that her former boss had an extramarital affair and a gambling problem, allegations Hart has since denied. Subsequently, the actor filed a lawsuit against both Tasha K and Miesha Shakes. Eniko Hart has yet to publicly address these new allegations, but she seems to be unfazed by them.
