Two young southern rappers come together on this aspirational track.

Spacejam Bo has made his proper introduction with the Cote Kid mixtape, released Friday. One of the immediate highlights on the projects comes with "New Money," an aspirational collaboration with Baton Rouge's YoungBoy Never Broke Again featuring production from 808 Mafia. Both rappers inflect their verses with bright melodies, and while their futures are looking just as bright, they've also experienced their share of struggles, which they're moving past but not forgetting as they rise to prominence.

“I want to be the person people go listen to when they’re going through life,” Bo said in a press release for the tape. “Everybody is too cool now. Rapping about diamonds and smoking drugs. They’re taking the culture somewhere it’s not supposed to be at. Rap should inspire people to be great. I came from nothing. I’m gonna tell them a story and lead them to be great, too.”

Quotable Lyrics:
I used to ask papa for money
If he had it, he gave me a 20
I used to steal the cars
I thank the lord
I can walk around with a hundred large
I'm pullin' up in a foreign car
I'm just a street n***a
I stay with my pistol
I swear, I am not a star
