At this point, JaVale McGee is pretty much guaranteed to be a Shaqtin A Fool Hall of Famer, if not the greatest Shaqtor of all time. However, Shaquille O’Neal has an offer for McGee, who makes it onto Inside The NBA’s Shaqtin’ segment almost weekly: if JaVale can avoid doing anything Shaqtin’ worthy for three games, Shaq will grant him immunity from the next five episodes of Shaqtin’ a fool.
At the end of a particularly funny episode, Shaq gives his ultimatum to the much-maligned big man for the Golden State Warriors. Kenny Anderson and Ernie Johnson do not believe that JaVale can make it three games without making a bone-headed error, but you gotta give it to Shaq for giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Back in October, JaVale voiced his displeasure for the Shaqtin’ segment saying, “it’s just really disappointing that grown men, 50, 40 year olds are having America’s Funniest Home Videos of a player. And then making it a hashtag and really just trying to ruin someone’s career over basketball mistakes.” This is your chance JaVale, don’t blow it. No one is ruining your career except you.
