Air Jordan 5 Low "Dongdan" Gets Official Look

If you are a fan of the Air Jordan 5 Low, then you are a brave soldier. Overall, this is not the kind of silhouette that gets a ton of love from fans. Instead, it is mostly relegated to just a few colorways here and there. However, when Jumpman does come out with a new colorway, it usually manages to impress. In any given year, you can typically expect at least a couple of variations of this silhouette. As it turns out, this will definitely be the case in 2023. After all, this year has already proven to be heavy on the Jordan Brand releases.

Throughout the last few weeks, we have gotten a ton of new Jordan Brand teasers. Furthermore, we have also been hit with information surrounding the Air Jordan 5 Low. As it turns out, this model is set to get a "Dongdan" colorway. For those who may not know, "Dongdan" is a streetball tournament that takes place in China. Just like Quai 54 in France, this streetball tournament tends to get some love from Jordan Brand. Subsequently, we are seeing that in the form of the Air Jordan 5 Low "Dongdan."

Overall, this is a very cool colorway. Firstly, the upper is covered in black materials. Secondly, the midsole is also black, however, it has pink shark teeth with black speckles. From there, the sneaker has a silver 3M tongue with a black Jumpman logo in the middle. When you combine these elements, you get a clean shoe that can turn some heads.

For now, there is no release date associated with this shoe. However, SneakerBarDetroit claims that the summer of this year seems like a likely timeline.
