The Nike PG 1 is coming in 2017.

Nike has confirmed that Pacers All-Star Paul George will be the next athlete on their roster to receive his own signature shoe, dubbed the PG 1. Over the Summer, some images of the "PG 1" leaked although it was unclear if this were truly Paul George's first signature sneaker.

Nike's brand president Trevor Edwards briefly spoke about the new shoe. Per Sole Collector:

"With the upcoming launch of our first new signature shoe in years, the Paul George 1, get ready for even more consumer and commercial energy in Nike Basketball over the next few months," Edwards said.

The Nike PG 1 is reportedly of the low-top variety, featuring a strap at the base of the tongue. Rumors suggest it will retail in the $110 range when it finally drops sometime in 2017.
