Patrick Mahomes had a great day in Kansas City.

Patrick Mahomes was the shining star of the Super Bowl. Of course, his opponent Jalen Hurts was also very good and in some ways better. However, the world will always remember the quarterback who came through with the win. This year, that quarterback was none other than Mahomes, whose Chiefs are on the verge of becoming a dynasty. In just six seasons in the NFL, Mahomes has won a total of two Super Bowl championships. Additionally, he has two Super Bowl MVPs and he even has two league MVPs. Needless to say, he is the future of the league.

On Wednesday, Mahomes and his teammates took to the streets of Kansas City for their Super Bowl parade. Overall, it was a truly epic celebration as thousands of people took to the streets to show support for their team. Although it was a cold day in February, the fans came out in droves. It was an amazing celebration of team pride and there was no doubt that Mahomes was the focal point for many.

According to TMZ, Mahomes made an epic speech once they got to the end of the parade run that leads to a grand stage. Throughout this speech, Mahomes spoke about how no one believed in the Chiefs this year. Moreover, he spoke about the team's "rebuild" and how he doesn't even know what that is supposed to mean. "I'mma be honest, I don't know what rebuilding means," 27-year-old Mahomes said. "In our rebuilding year, we're world champs!! I just wanna let y'all know that this is just the beginning. We ain't done yet." Overall, it is clear that this franchise has a ton of confidence in its ability to win.

For the coming years, the Chiefs could very well become the new Patriots. If you are a fan of any other team in the league, it is probably going to frustrate you to hear this. However, it is ultimately up to teams like the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills to stop KC in their tracks. Let us know your thoughts on the impending Chiefs dynasty, in the comments down below.
