LeBron James hasn't played in a while.

LeBron James had a huge game with the Los Angeles Lakers last Tuesday. For those who may not remember, LeBron was playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder with the scoring record in mind. Overall, it was a very emotional night for the entire team. However, James came through with an amazing 38-point performance that ultimately gave him the record. This was one of the biggest moments in LeBron's entire career, and it is a testament to his longevity in the sport.

Unfortunately, Lakers fans have not seen LeBron in the lineup since breaking the record. Immediately after his record-setting night, he decided to sit against Milwaukee. For the most part, fans just thought that he was taking part in some load management. Although, it has become clear that his injury is more than that. In fact, LeBron has officially missed three games in a row, and now, fans are worried about what is going on.

According to a report from Marc Stein, LeBron James has actually been dealing with this injury for quite some time. It is even to the point where it is "unbearable" for James on some occasions. “I was told that Tuesday’s game, the record-breaking game, I was told LeBron was severely struggling with that foot injury he has," Stein wrote. "It’s something that’s been nagging him for a few weeks already, but it gets to point where it just gets unbearable. He plays through it. And people that talked to me said he was really struggling with that foot.”

This is going to be a bit of an issue for the Lakers, moving forward. LeBron has their MVP this season and without him, they probably won't make the playoffs. Consequently, that will be two years in a row without a postseason appearance for the purple and gold. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments down below.
