Derin Falana, formerly known as The Flan, let us premiere the audio version of summer, "Vacation," mid-August, and the rapper returns today handing off another premiere for his new record "Stay Freestyle." The former Heatseeker continues to impress with his lyrics, his keen ear for production and, basically, the fact that he has his shit together.
For "Stay Freestyle," Derin connects with producer J-Louis for a melodic yet mechanical beat, sprinkled with soul samples and xylophone noises. J-Louis also handled Bryson Tiller's recent "Just Another Interlude," for those unfamiliar with the name.
