The past month or two have given us a whole host of new "Treestyles" from Chicago "soul-trapper" Tree, and unlike the ones he was doing last year, they're all-original. The latest is "Testify," a cut produced by Jae Monee.
Unlike the other tracks in the "Treestyles" series, this one skews closer to the actual soul-trap of Tree's excellent 2013 tape Sunday School II: When Church Lets Out, rather than the more experimental sound he's been favoring lately. Over a warm string sample, Tree raps and sings over the course of this brief track. "Testify" might be the best one of this series so far.
