Though he was featured on the XXL Freshmen list a couple years back, Don Trip hasn't managed to find the audience he deserves. Nevertheless, his output has managed to be consistently excellent, from his work with fellow underrated talent Starlito, to his solo efoorts.
Trip's latest record is yet another strong offering with the rapper balancing his gruff aggression on the verses with some surprisingly sweet melodies. Of course, the tone is always paranoid, and politically charged. Look out for Trip's new project, Godspeed, which is set to drop on June 23rd. We're hoping this one can be his breakthrough.
