Lil Uzi Vert is a name we first heard earlier this year when the Baltimore native linked up with A$AP Ant for a cut from the tape Percs & Lean entitled "Whippin," and now he's making his HNHH debut as a solo artist. "Monee Del Rey" also features DJ Diamond Cuts and was produced by MaalyRaw.
Released as a follow-up to Vert's August tape The Real Uzi, the track is a trippy, lean-drenched banger that features some pained, pitch-altered auto tune wailing from Uzi. Despite the fact that he's singing for most of "Monee Del Rey," he also shows he's no slouch on the mic with some dope bars about Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert.
