Last week, The-Dream dropped his out-of-nowhere EP Royalty: The Prequel, and now he's back with a similarly mysterious video for EP cut "Culture." Posted on his website in a YouTube window that's form-fitted to an iPhone screen, the "Culture" clip is a live video of The-Dream (or rather, his hand) playing videos off of his phone. Now that's meta.
Showing the R&B star's new wife in a number of locations around Paris, we'd have to guess that these iPhone videos were shot on the couple's recent honeymoon. The-Dream's new website and label also reference Paris in their name (Contra-Paris), so maybe Mr. Nash recently bought a house there?
If there's one consistent thing about The-Dream, it's that he always keeps you guessing.
