Watch Crooked I's "Struggle" video.

For the most part, Slaughterhouse's recent tape House Rules was a family affair, with the majority of its tracks evoking cyphers, as the crew traded off verses with each other. The track "Struggle" was an exception, as Crooked I got the entire song to himself to give deeply personal details of his daily battles.

Now the solo cut has gotten a very fitting video, which uses black and white coloring and uncomplicated shots to draw our focus to Crooked's bars. Best summed up in the line, "Andy Dufresne escapin' Shawshank, the shit I been through," Crooked I has seen some struggles, but he's overcome them to be one of the finest lyricists around.
